About Us
ALP Farms has been operated by the Popp family since 1932. Traditionally known for growing strawberries, the farm has made a transition to growing blueberries. Our blueberries will be ready at the end of July. This year we will have tomatoes and potatoes starting in late August. Those of you who are looking for pickling cucumbers in any quantity, please see Mrs. Sally Byler, 937 Hickory Hill Road, Fort Plain. We have asked her to help out our pickle customers. Please stop by and see her to place your pickle orders. She is Amish, so there is no business or orders taken on Sundays. Please tell her that Art Popp sent you over to see her. We are also local producers of the finest maple syrup in the area. We take great pride in providing quality produce at reasonable prices.
We are open 1 pm to 5 pm each Saturday throughout the year. From July 15 until August 10, we are open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday through the summer. From August 11 to October 31, we are open 1 pm to 5 pm Monday through Saturday.
